All set for kindergarten...
Upon hearing that she had her last day of preschool last Friday and she went to the doc and got her "5 year old shots" on Wednesday, Skylar has been ready for school to start. All day. Apparently, we either need to work on our calendar skills or she's gonna be wearin' the backpack all summer...

For the last 2 days whenever I need a laugh I come to your blog and look at that 3rd picture. The look on her face and that fantastic draped-over-the-couch pose is just how some of us feel sometimes, but we don't show it as well. Ahh, my good ole' Skylar speaking the universal truth to all of us. :-)
Well, that backpack is fetching. No wonder she likes it so.
How exciting for her! Enjoy the time when she can't wait to go to school because there may come a day when getting her out of bed for school requires a tow truck come-along.
